As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will architect and evolve a maintainable, high-performance backend platform behind AI inference endpoints. You’ll own multi-tenant systems handling authentication, API keys, usage metering, and billing, enabling scalable AI-powered solutions. You collaborate with AI infrastructure and data teams to deliver secure, observable, and resilient services at scale.

This role offers ownership of core platform decisions and a chance to shape reliable, high-throughput systems in a collaborative culture.

Compensaciones / Ventajas

- Design and build core platform services: API gateway, authentication, authorization, key rotation, and multi-tenant isolation
- Develop and optimize APIs and backend systems using Python (primarily FastAPI; possible Flask or Django)
- Implement usage metering, billing integration, and rate limiting for inference endpoints
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices for data processing and AI integration
- Operate a high-throughput proxy/routing layer for AI model serving traffic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability




- Incorporate telemetry and observability: structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics, alerting
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for production systems
- Drive architectural decisions on data modeling and technology choices
- Identify bottlenecks and improve reliability, scalability, and latency
- Set engineering standards for backend codebase: testing, code review, deployment practices
- Ensure security, compliance, and maintainability across the API lifecycle
- Collaborate with ML infrastructure to integrate with model serving systems (e.g., NVIDIA Dynamo, vLLM, SGlang, TensorRT-LLM)

Responsabilidades

- Senior backend engineer with strong Python xugodme and system design skills
- Experience building production infrastructure and distributed systems
- Proven ability to design, implement, and scale APIs and backend services
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant architectures
- Familiarity with API gateways, metering, billing, and rate limiting
- Experience with telemetry, observability, logging, tracing, metrics
- Understanding of CI/CD, testing, and deployment best practices
- Ability to collaborate with ML infrastructure teams on model serving integration
- Security and compliance awareness
