JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:

The Asset Manager supports the Head – Asset Management in managing Sanad Capital’s engine and component asset portfolio to ensure operational excellence, profitability, and compliance with company objectives

.

The role serves as the Deputy to the Head during periods of absence and acts as a mentor, coach, and technical advisor to junior staff. The incumbent is responsible for implementing asset management strategies, coordinating commercial transactions, monitoring engine performance, and optimizing teardown and parts trading operations in line with Sanad Capital’s strategic and financial goal s.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Support Asset Management Strategy

- Execute asset management plans covering engine acquisition, teardown, and part sales as directed by the Head.
- Conduct detailed financial and market analyses to support valuation and investment decisions.
- Contribute to portfolio optimization and business case development for new projects.
- Represent the Head in meetings and operational matters when delegated .

2. Execute Asset Transactions and Commercial Activities

- Manage assigned asset transactions, including deal coordination, due diligence, and financial modelling.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Technical, MRO) to ensure smooth and compliant deal execution.
- Track transaction progress, delivery schedules, and post-deal performance against agreed terms.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial documents and approvals.

3. Manage Teardown and Repair Operations

- Coordinate teardown programs, repair management, and parts sales in collaboration with vendors and MRO facilities.
- Monitor progress against turnaround time (TAT), cost, and quality metrics.
- Identify improvement opportunities in teardown planning,



repair yield, and inventory management .

4. Data Analysis and Realities .

- porting Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering asset utilization, revenue, and profit ability.
- Analyze performance data to highlight trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Present operational findings to the Head and other stakeholders to support strategic de cisions.

5. Mentorship and Knowledge

- Sharing Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to junior colleagues to enhance technical and commercial capabilities.
- Promote collaboration, professionalism, and knowledge transfer within the team.
- Support the development of Emirati talent in line with Sanad’s Emiratization ob jectives.

6. Compliance and Process Improvement

- Ensure adherence to approved policies, procedures, and quality standards in all asset management a activities.
- Participate in process reviews and propose practical enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost control .

7. Perform Other Duties

- Carry out additional assignments and support special projects as directed by the Head – Asset Management or Director – Leasing

Operations. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

Minimum Qua lifications:(Education/Certification/Licensure/Professional

- Membership)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Asset Management, Aviation Leasing, or Financial Analysis a

- um Experience:8 to 10 years of progressive experience in aviation asset management, engine/component sales, or MRO operations.
- Demonstrated background in asset valuation, teardown management, and
- parts trading.3 to 5 years of experience coordinating teams or mentoring technical/commercial professionals.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, OEM maintenance programs, and financ ial modelling.

Job Specific Competencies: 1.Asset Portfolio Management

Implements asset management plans and monitors engine and component performance to achieve operational and financial targets. Provides recommendations to enhance portfolio efficiency and asset value.

2.Commercial and Financial Analysis

Conducts valuation, pricing, and financial modelling to support asset transactions and performance reporting. Ensures analytical accuracy and commercial soundness in all assessments.

3.Deal Coordina tion and Execution

Coordinates deal processes, including documentation, due diligence, and stakeholder communication. Ensures transactions are executed efficiently, compliantly, and within ap proved parameters.

4.Technical a nd Market Awareness

Maintains current knowledge of aviation markets, OEM/MRO trends, and regulatory frameworks. Applies technical and commercial insights to optimize teardown an d repair decisions.

5.Mentorship and Team Development

Acts as a coach and technical guide for junior team members, fostering continuous learning, skill development, and knowledge transfer within the As set Management team.

6.Governance and C ontinuous Improvement

Adheres to established policies and quality systems while contributing to operational excellence through data-driven improvements and best practice sharing.
