In this role you will develop modelling and simulation solutions for spacecraft dynamics, supporting SSA data processing and time-series analysis. You will apply mathematical methods and design ML models for physical systems, working with attitude/orbital dynamics and optical data. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust technical solutions that impact space systems and missions.

This position offers the chance to contribute to Europe’s space programs and leverage advanced tools in a global, open-culture environment. You’ll combine simulation, data analysis and software development to drive impactful space applications.

Responsabilidades

- Experience in orbital mechanics and spacecraft dynamics (3+ years)
- Experience in SSA optical sensors data processing
- Strong background in applied mathematics and statistics
- Hands-on ML experience for physical systems or time series
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented xugodme programming
- Understanding of satellite attitude and orbital dynamics
- Familiarity with optical light curve analysis, optical physics, and photometry
- Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Strong Python and Java programming skills (3-4 years)
- Experience with scientific computing and data analysis libraries
- Hybrid work availability in Madrid
