As Patch Management Process Owner, you lead end-to-end governance and execution of patching across the IT estate to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities. You collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and audit teams to strengthen cyber resilience while aligning with regulatory requirements. The role focuses on improving the patch process, prioritizing cycles by risk and business impact, and driving automation to speed deployment.
This is a chance to influence security posture at scale within Allianz Technology and its cross‑country teams.

- Own and continuously improve the patch management process, policies, and standards
- Prioritize patch cycles based on availability, risk, severity, and business impact
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and security teams for proactive patching and remediation of critical/high-severity vulnerabilities
- Track, monitor, and report patch compliance to senior stakeholders, security, and audit teams
- Manage exceptions and risk acceptances with approvals and documentation
- Support internal and external audits with evidence of process adherence
- Identify and drive automation opportunities to improve deployment speed and consistency
- Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA ICT risk management) and internal security policies
- Escalate systemic risks or recurring non-compliance to relevant stakeholders
Responsabilidades
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, vulnerability management, or security operations
- Experience owning or contributing to a patch/vulnerability management process at scale
- Solid understanding of vulnerability management lifecycles, CVSS scoring, and remediation prioritization
- Familiarity with patch management tooling (e.g., SCCM, WSUS, Ansible, or equivalent)
- Experience with audit processes and strong analytical/risk-prioritization skills
- Clear, structured communication able to report xugodme to technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Ownership mindset with ability to drive process improvements
- Stakeholder management across cross-functional and cross-country teams
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboards and reporting
- Awareness of regulatory requirements affecting IT operations (e.g., DORA, NIS2)
- Knowledge of ITSM processes and availability management is a plus
- English business fluency; other languages a plus
- Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage
