Up International offers paid Teaching Assistant placements in schools in Spain, combined with official training in Early Childhood Education.

Currently we are offering a placement for native or near-native English speaker who want to gain practical classroom experience, support students’ English learning and develop their professional profile in education. Key Terms / Main Conditions

Location: Pamplona, Navarra

Start date: 1st September 2026.

End date: 31st May 2027

Teaching hours:25 hours per week

Monthly grant: €1,074 per month.

Educational stages: Primary and Secondary Education.

Role: The Teaching Assistant will work mainly with Primary pupils and will also support some Secondary groups. They will teach small groups to improve students’ oral communication skills and, in some cases, help prepare them for official English examinations. The TA will plan their own activities with support from the English Department, collaborate in departmental initiatives,



and communicate in English at all times within the school.

Training: The placement is combined with official training in Early Childhood Education.

Candidate profile: Native or near-native English speaker, preferably with an interest in education, good communication skills, flexibility, responsibility and motivation to work with children.

Requirements: Legal permission to live or study in Spain. Previous experience with children will be valued.

Support provided: Personal and administrative guidance throughout the programme, including support with documentation, accommodation search and adaptation to the school placement.
