Project Manager for Digital Optimization Solutions, responsible for managing low to medium complexity projects within the Plant Reliability and Software Projects organization, typically valued below $5M. This role provides Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to nuclear and non-nuclear utilities and is located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastian de las Reyes, with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). It is a full‑time role reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning Academy and Operations Support.

Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for full cycle project management processes. These processes include authoring project plans and managing scope, schedule, cost baselines, communications, partner registers during the project proposal, initiation, and execution phases. Additionally, your responsibilities cover close of projects, document management, project quality assessment, reporting, and improvements.
- Per the Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR).
- With the support of a mentor.
- Support customer conversations and negotiations for topics associated with assigned projects.
- Assume overall responsibility for profitability of assigned contracts.
- Prepare or oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including Earned Value Management).
- Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope.
- Interpret and transmit contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to help develop project‑specific deliverables and communicate with teams following an integrated change management process.




- Develop or oversee project records in standard databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation internally and externally.
- Example projects: New customer software implementation and onboarding, software maintenance, centralized monitoring and diagnostics services, and procedure and work package digitalization.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of project management or related experience in a technical field.
- Westinghouse Project Manager qualification to be completed within 12 months of hire.
- Familiar with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Experience with project management tools: SAP, Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, and Active Risk Manager.
- Basic knowledge of nuclear power plants and utility operations, maintenance and engineering practices.
- Ability to travel internationally (5‑10%).
