In this role you will drive aluminium extrusion-focused product development for the Rail Platform in Europe, turning customer needs into Hydro-grade product designs. You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate feasibility, support design and problem-solving, and ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and customer requirements. You’ll act as a bridge between customers and fabrication plants, shaping solutions from concept to realization.

This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a general, collaborative environment with a clear focus on safety and quality.

- Evaluate new customer requests for feasibility and capacity
- Lead technical input for offers including cost evaluation and specifications
- Support product and profile design, engineering changes, and problem-solving
- Manage technical documentation (drawings, 3D data, specifications) and ensure data accuracy

- Build strong customer relationships and participate in technical discussions
- Contribute to pricing tools, cost optimization, and value-engineering initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations, and customer requirements

Responsabilidades

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar (Master's preferred)
- Experience in aluminium extrusion and/or product xugodme development (project-driven environment)
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics and aluminium design principles
- Familiarity with rail standards and product lifecycle processes
- CAD/CAM knowledge; understanding of extrusion, machining, welding, bending
