Barcelona

- Location & Work Model: Barcelona city center (Presencial-first company)
- Highlight of the Project: Launching Spanish Sales Hub
- Salary & Benefits: €600 / month (with bonus based on performance)

What’s the project? Imagine a world where passionate experience creators, the people who teach you how to cook authentic tapas, guide you through breathtaking kayak tours, or host local art workshops don't have to stress about the boring admin stuff.

Our client has built an all-in-one software platform specifically designed for these experience businesses. It helps them manage daily operations, boost bookings, handle payments, and scale their business with total clarity. They operate in the booming travel tech and experience economy sector, which is undergoing a massive digital transformation right now.

After conquering multiple European markets and securing a recent €12M Series A funding round, they are officially opening their brand-new hub in Spain! ???????? This means you will be joining a fast-paced, high-energy environment from day one, where your voice actually matters and your daily efforts directly shape the company’s footprint in the Spanish market.

And your role in this?

As a Founding Business Development Intern , you are the tip of the spear for this Spanish expansion! Your main mission is to spark curiosity in the local market, connect with experience providers across Spain, and help feed a steady stream of qualified opportunities to the team to ensure the hub hits its growth targets.

More specifically, you will:

- Identify and research potential prospects (experience providers, venues, activity operators) across Spain efficiently, without getting bogged down in over-preparation.
- Execute a high-momentum outreach strategy, picking up the phone consistently,

building your day strategically, and using multi-channel approaches like LinkedIn and email.
- Listen carefully and read between the lines to uncover pain points, adapting your communication to prospects with a human-first, authentic tone rather than relying on rigid scripts.
- Qualify potential leads and schedule demo meetings for Account Executives, aiming to steadily build towards a consistent flow of quality opportunities as you ramp up.
- Maintain accurate prospect data in the CRM, tracking your daily progress and reporting insights quickly and efficiently.
- Share your learnings about the local Spanish market—competitor activity, cultural nuances, and trends—collaborating selflessly with the team with zero internal ego.

Ok, what should you bring? We e are looking for human spark, curiosity, and resilience!

The Essentials (Must-Haves):

- Native level of Spanish and fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Eligible for an internship agreement ( convenio de prácticas ) with a university or educational institution.
- A genuine enjoyment of talking to people all day you get energized by human connection and building momentum on the phones!
- High emotional resilience to rejection: you view "no" as useful data, not a personal setback, and you don't overthink before picking up the phone.
- A self-reflective mindset: you actively analyze your own daily performance,

constantly looking for ways to improve your pitch and level up your skills.
- High coachability and proactivity: you actively seek feedback after tough calls and don't wait around to be told what to do next.

The Nice-to-Haves:

- Prior cold-calling experience or strong evidence of personal grit (e.g., solo traveling, balancing work while studying).
- Deep business curiosity you love understanding how local businesses work and tailoring your approach to help them.
- A natural "numbers game" mindset: you enjoy keeping track of your own metrics and using data to boost your activity.
- A genuine passion for travel, local activities, and the experience economy! ????

Is that it? Let’s talk about the vibe and the reality of the role.

Starting this September, this is a foundational internship position in a high-growth startup environment. Because it is a presencial-first company, you will be working face-to-face with your team in the Barcelona hub which is hands-down the absolute best way to learn fast, soak up knowledge, and build your career from scratch!

It comes with a fast pace and a healthy dose of startup ambiguity, meaning it’s not a standard "clock in, clock out" internship. You’ll be encouraged to bring solutions to the table rather than just highlighting problems.

In return, you get to be part of a culture built on trust, autonomy, and immense growth potential. You will work alongside an ambitious team in a beautiful Barcelona city center location, receiving direct mentorship every single day. The internship offers a starting stipend of €600 per month , with clear opportunities to scale your compensation up to €1,000 per month as you hit your learning and activity milestones.
