As a Backend Software Engineer in Betsson Group’s Player Rewards u0026amp; Gamification team in Málaga, you will design and build distributed backend services and drive containerization and cloud migrations to scale our engagement platform. You collaborate with product and commercial teams to turn ideas into scalable, reliable solutions, while maintaining high quality and observability. You’ll participate in architecture discussions, mentor others, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

This role blends hands-on development with shaping the technical direction of a rapidly evolving product area.

- Optimize microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability
- Drive containerization and cloud migration strategy forward

lead architectural decisions and identify improvement opportunities
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct code reviews
- Participate in incident resolution and on-call rotation

Responsabilidades

- Proven experience with C# and .NET (modern versions after .NET Core)
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis; Couchbase is a plus
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
- Testing and quality tools: xUnit/NUnit, mocking frameworks; load testing with k6
- Messaging or actor-based systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Orleans xugodme
- Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions; trunk-based development; progressive delivery
- Knowledge of Domain-driven design, event sourcing, distributed systems
- Agile and Lean, DevOps mindset, strong collaboration
- Incident management and on-call experience
