Senior Frontend Developer

Location: Barcelona, Spain

We're looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of the frontend development of a large-scale enterprise application. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering intuitive, high-performance user experiences using the latest frontend technologies while helping shape the future of a scalable design system.

Working as part of a collaborative Agile team, you'll partner with designers, backend engineers and product teams to build robust, maintainable solutions used across a growing digital platform.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js .
- Build and evolve reusable UI components within a modern design system.
- Create responsive, accessible interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS .
- Develop and document components using Storybook .
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimise application performance, maintainability and code quality.
- Write unit and integration tests using Vitest .
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex frontend challenges and champion best practices.

What We're Looking For




- 6+ years' commercial experience with React and Next.js .
- Strong knowledge of frontend architecture and component-driven development.
- Experience with Storybook , Tailwind CSS and modern frontend best practices.
- Solid understanding of REST API integration.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest .
- Strong Git workflow experience and Agile delivery experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have
- CI/CD experience.
- Docker or containerisation knowledge.
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Familiarity with monorepos.
- Exposure to AWS or serverless environments.
- Experience with data visualisation libraries such as Chart.js, ECharts or D3.
