In this role you apply geotechnical expertise to review reports, design foundations and retaining structures, and supervise site investigations on premier land development projects. You will collaborate across functions within Ramboll’s Site Solutions team to ensure designs meet standards and client needs. You drive technical assurance, data processing, and progress monitoring, shaping robust solutions for sustainable development.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Prepare and check engineering designs, technical documents, and calculations; supervise production of design documents for client issues
- Coordinate projects from site investigation through design feasibility to detailed design; oversee ground investigation site supervision when required
- Ensure designs comply with current design standards, codes of practice, and best practice
- Process geotechnical data for interpretation, assessment, and report preparation
- Perform diverse geotechnical design work (excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, soil improvement, foundations, stability and settlement) in line with Eurocodes and local annexes
- Develop project controls and monitor progress against programmes




- Coordinate external sub-contractors and design checkers as needed
- Develop and provide technical assurance of design, including client presentations and reports
- Report project administration to Line Management including monitoring delivery, resources, and budgets
- Assist in preparing expressions of interest, proposals, and tenders with cost estimates
- Maximise business development opportunities where possible
- Collaborate with other geographies

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 5+ years of geotechnical experience in investigations, reporting, design and construction inspections
- Experience in a design environment; some site experience preferred
- Advanced numerical modelling skills using 2D Plaxis xugodme or similar
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software including Geo Studio suite (Slope/W, Seep/W) or similar
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes
- Significant experience in the civil engineering sector
- International experience valued
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking and judgement abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive and able to coach others
- Valid driver’s license for client meetings and site visits
