In this role you will contribute to the development of electrical and electronic systems for satellites and payloads, spanning telecoms, earth observation, science and navigation. You will work within the Electrical Systems Spain Department to ensure on-cost, on-time and on-quality delivery in a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll define and manage on-board sub-systems, review hardware and FPGA designs, and support verification, procurement, AIT and quality activities.

This is a hands-on position shaping space-grade electronics within a global aerospace leader.

- Coordinate and manage technical aspects for on-board sub-systems and related hardware (digital)
- Elaborate and maintain technical requirement specifications for sub-systems or boards
- Review supplier HW designs and FPGA documentation as needed
- Contribute to data bus protocols, processor load and memory budgets in HW resources
- Design specific digital electrical circuits and review PCB designs
- Define system verification/validation strategies and test specifications
- Manage electrical interfaces, TM/TC interfaces, data links, harnesses, power budget and EMC




- Support procurement in technical follow-up and risk assessment
- Support AIT in test system definition and integration activities
- Assist Quality with anomaly investigations and NRBs
- Prepare technical documentation, presentations and proposals
- Lead/participate in technical reviews with equipment/board suppliers
- Collaborate with thermal, mechanical, and harness teams throughout lifecycle

Responsabilidades

- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- u003e=5 years experience in space projects and space digital electronics design/test
- Experience in requirements management
- xugodme Subcontractor technical management experience
- Advanced English and Spanish
- Experience with ESA ECSS standards
- Knowledge of electrical analysis tools (LT/PSPICE and/or MATLAB) and electrical design (ALTIUM)
- Experience with space microprocessors/SoCs and FPGA design (VHDL) is a plus
- Experience with DOORS for requirements management is a plus
- Programming experience (Python) is a plus
