Experteer Overview As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in the Search team, you will design and operate scalable search and recommendation systems to deliver highly relevant content to millions of readers.You'll work at the intersection of backend engineering, data science, and applied AI, shaping personalization and content understanding in real time.You collaborate with product, data science, and engineering peers to make architecture and model decisions that impact user engagement.This hybrid Barcelona role offers the opportunity to push cutting-edge machine learning in a high-traffic media environment.Compensaciones / Ventajas• Design, build, and operate search systems powering content discovery and engagement• Develop and improve ML models across the personalization stack from candidate generation to ranking• Enhance candidate retrieval with embeddings, two-tower architectures, and user/content signals• Lead experimentation and AB testing to measure impact and iterate on models• Leverage LLMs for content understanding and feature extraction• Optimize performance, latency,
