Role Description The Visual Effects Producer is a remote, contract role responsible for overseeing VFX projects from initial brief through final delivery. This role manages project timelines, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures that all creative and technical requirements are met. Day-to-day tasks include scoping work, tracking progress, maintaining schedules, managing budgets, and aligning production workflows between artists, supervisors, and clients.

The Visual Effects

Producer will organize and lead production meetings, handle status reporting, and support post-production activities to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines. This role also involves identifying risks early, proposing solutions, and maintaining clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey requirements, provide feedback, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated Budgeting skills to estimate costs, track expenses, and keep projects within agreed financial parameters.




- Production Management experience overseeing schedules, resource allocation, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of Post-Production processes, including workflows for editing, compositing, and final delivery of visual effects.
- Familiarity with Computer Graphics and VFX pipelines, including basic understanding of CG tools and industry-standard software.
- Proven experience as a VFX, post-production, or media producer in film, television, advertising, or streaming content.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools, and adapting to evolving project needs.
- Beneficial qualifications include experience with project management software, understanding of union and non-union production environments, and a track record of delivering complex VFX projects on time.
