As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Technology Hub in Alicante and looking for a Quality Engineering Lead to define and drive our quality strategy across products, platforms, and engineering teams.

Location: Alicante - Parque Tecnológico de San Vicente

Work model: Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Your Mission

You will be responsible for elevating quality from a testing activity to a strategic capability across the organization.

This role combines quality leadership, risk management, modern QA practices, AI-driven quality innovation, and data-informed decision making. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire software lifecycle.

What You'll Do

- Define and evolve the Quality Engineering strategy across products and technology teams.
- Establish quality standards, frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
- Develop risk-based testing approaches to improve release confidence and delivery quality.
- Drive the adoption of modern Quality Engineering practices within Agile and Dev Ops environments.
- Introduce and evaluate AI-powered solutions to enhance testing, defect prevention, and quality insights.
- Define quality KPIs and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into quality trends and risks.
- Identify systemic quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Architects to embed quality from design to production.




- Drive initiatives around test automation, CI/CD quality gates, observability, and production quality.
- Measure the effectiveness and business impact of quality initiatives.
- Mentor QA engineers and help increase quality maturity across the organization.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
- Proven experience defining and implementing QA strategies in complex technology environments.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and SDLC best practices.
- Experience with risk management, quality governance, and quality metrics.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops, and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience working with automation frameworks and CI/CD ecosystems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
- Interest or experience in applying AI to software quality and testing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English and Spanish

Nice to Have

- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
- Programming or scripting experience (Python, Java Script, or similar).
- Experience working in large-scale digital, SaaS, or product-focused organizations.
