What is the Role:

We’re seeking a collaborative and driven Tax Manager to join our Tax team and focus on international taxes in jurisdictions outside of the United States. You will play a critical part of evaluating and streamlining processes in an increasingly sophisticated global organization.

As the Tax Manager, you will lead critical project management, communications, and operational efforts. As part of a multi-functional general Finance team,



you will be a critical member ensuring we operate most efficiently and optimally as Elastic continues to scale. You’ll also engage with a diverse range of Elasticians and external business partners across the globe and are constantly learning, growing, and adapting. This role will have two direct reports.

What You Will Be Doing:

Lead all aspects of international GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory tax provisions, including working with Elasticians across various teams and external auditors

Ensure compliance with SOX controls and reporting as a public company

Oversee and manage external consultants to ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, R&D; credit studies, foreign tax returns, Pillar 2, and transfer pricing compliance

Coordinate and manage compliance audits and inquiries from tax authorities
