Requirements

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, with specialization in Power Systems Engineering, Industrial Electrical Engineering, Energy and Substations, or Engineering Project Management.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects.
- Proven experience as Senior Engineer and/or Electrical Lead in complex industrial projects.
- Participation in at least one EPC UAE Onshore or Offshore project.
- Solid experience in design, supervision, and commissioning of power systems, substations, electrical distribution, industrial lighting, grounding, and electrical protection systems.
- Experience in managing technical interfaces with other disciplines, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and UAE standards.
- Practical knowledge of international standards and electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API).
- Advanced English level C1 or higher.

Principal duties

- Lead the electrical discipline during basic engineering, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Review and approve drawings, electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and project deliverables.
- Ensure correct application of IEC, IEEE, NEC standards and UAE specifications.




- Coordinate with engineering, project, procurement, and construction teams to ensure proper integration of electrical design.
- Manage technical interfaces with contractors, suppliers, and other project disciplines.
- Provide technical support to procurement in the preparation of requisitions, technical evaluations (TBE), and supplier documentation review.
- Participate in technical meetings with manufacturers and follow-up of electrical packages.
- Manage technical queries, deviations, and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in technical and progress meetings with the client, ensuring timely closure of comments.
- Ensure all electrical activities comply with project quality, safety, and QHSE requirements.
- Ensure proper implementation of applicable corporate procedures and standards.
- Perform other duties inherent to the position.
