Field Service Technician

Home-based – Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante Area, Spain

Frequent travel throughout Spain (rapidly growing market) and occasional travel to France.

Main ResponsibilitiesTechnical Service

- Install, commission and maintain ventilation systems at customer sites, primarily within pharmaceutical and chemical laboratories.
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and provide ongoing technical support and maintenance.

Development of the Spanish Market

- Act as the main technical point of contact for customers in Spain.
- Provide technical support to our local business partners.
- Report customer feedback and market requirements to our headquarters in Germany.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Customer Service & Administration

- Independently organise your work schedule and plan customer visits (3–4 days per week).
- Arrange appointments with customers and coordinate site access.
- Maintain professional communication with customers on-site and remotely in Spanish, French and English.
- Respond to customer enquiries and prepare maintenance quotations.

Internal Collaboration

- Work closely with and support the Service Manager.
- Communicate regularly with our headquarters in Germany in English.

Working Conditions

- Home-based position (remote working)
- Frequent travel (3–4 days per week), mainly throughout Spain
- Company car provided (private use permitted)
- Laptop, mobile phone and all necessary work equipment provided
- All travel and business expenses fully reimbursed
- Comprehensive onboarding and technical training during the first months

Salary & Benefits

- Annual gross salary: €27,000 – €32,000, depending on experience

Candidate Profile Required Skills

- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Experience or knowledge of building ventilation systems would be an advantage
- Strong technical aptitude and practical hands-on skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Well-organised with good administrative skills (quotations, documentation and follow-up)
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Languages

- English: Minimum B2 level (required for communication with our headquarters in Germany)
- Spanish: Fluent
- French: Fluent

Other Requirements

- Valid driving licence (mandatory)
- Available to start as soon as possible
