Verisure is seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Quality Engineer to join our Group Technology organization in Madrid (Spain). You will participate in the development and execution of our industrial vision and strategy and will manage our day-to-day industrial activities and projects.

This position will report to the Industrial Manager, himself reporting to the Director of Tech Portfolio Strategy and Central Quality.
We are looking for an Industrial Quality Engineer to strengthen validation rigor and data-driven decision making across our EMS and ODM manufacturing partners.
This role sits at the intersection of quality, industrialization, and test validation, ensuring that product performance, test limits, and supplier processes are robust, statistically justified, and aligned with quality standards.
The ideal candidate must have enough technical understanding to challenge assumptions, validate data, and prevent weak quality decisions.
Responsabilities
- Monitor production processes (Process quality control) and manage day-to-day activities of our industrial footprint. Manage supplier quality processes, deviation requests, engineering changes, and quality claims in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Identify and troubleshoot any quality issues and work to resolve them efficiently together our partners. Review and challenge 8D reports.
- Ensure strong root cause analysis (avoid superficial conclusions)
- Validate data consistency vs conclusions
- Conduct factory audits and support supplier qualification across diverse industrial environments. Evaluate manufacturing processes, operational efficiency, quality control systems, and compliance with international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and workplace safety regulations.
- Participate in the industrialization of new products and industrial quality validation (PPAP / process readiness) to ensure that our products are manufactured efficiently and with high quality.
- Review Control Plans, MSA, capability studies
- Ensure alignment between risk and control strategy
- Verify and challenge test limits and changes:
- Ensure statistical justification (Cp/Cpk, distributions, sample size)
- Assess impact on yield vs escape risk
- Identify inconsistencies between design, test and production
- Drive supplier quality performance (EMS/ODM):
- Request and analyze data (yield, DPPM)
- Escalate weak decision-making or lack of evidence
- Prepare presentations for managerial sessions when required.
Required Qualifications ✅
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Industrial, or related field)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electronic manufacturing, Industrial Quality or related roles.
- Experience in a quality assurance role within the electronic industry,
- Familiarity with quality standards such ISO2859-1 sampling procedure for inspection.
- Familiarity with quality management system (QMS) and manufacturing audit process in factories. ISO 9001
- Hands-on experience with supplier quality management processes (PPAP, 8D, deviations, engineering changes,
quality claims)
- Experience participating in or supporting NPI phases from an industrial quality perspective
- 6–8 years experience in:
- Electronics manufacturing (EMS preferred)
- Industrial quality / supplier quality
- Experience in mechanical and electrical manufacturing and assembly processes
- Basic electronics (signals, variability, tolerances)
- Experience in SMT production line and manufacturing tests, if possible, in the consumer electronics industry. (ICT, FCT, functional / RF is a plus)
- Statistical analysis:
- Cp / Cpk
- MSA / GR&R;
- Yield / FPY / DPPM
- Experience working with:
- Suppliers (EMS/ODM)
- 8D problem solving
- Process validation / PPAP
- Experience in industrialization projects such as factory transfers, ramp-ups, or production scale-up
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English
