We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team at Celsius.
This role is idóneo for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to develop strong foundational experience within a fast-growing international organization. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, month-end tasks, and financial reporting activities, working closely with senior members of the Finance team.
This role requires strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, proficiency in English, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments in a dynamic environment.
Key Details
Salary range: 30,000 - 33,000 Euros per year.
Hybrid role: onsite in Barcelona office 3x days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Support the maintenance of the general ledger by preparing and posting routine journal entries under the supervision of senior team members.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by gathering data, validating information, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Perform basic account reconciliations (e.G., bank, prepaid expenses), identifying discrepancies and collaborating with the team to resolve issues.
Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing processes by supporting accrual calculations, account reviews, and the preparation of schedules.
Help maintain proper internal controls and support compliance efforts,



including documentation for SOX‑related requirements when applicable.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to capture relevant financial data and support accurate financial reporting.
Support internal and external audit activities by preparing requested supporting documents and assisting with walkthroughs and testing procedures.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
Assist with tasks related to international subsidiaries and local compliance requirements as Celsius expands globally.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role;

internships or entry‑level experience will also be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and willingness to build expertise in financial reporting.
Proficiency in English is required.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or other ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
