We have taken advantage of 2021 to completely modernize the Empordà Golf Club and turn it, not only into one of the most emblematic golf settings in Spain, but also into one of the main 36-hole golf destinations in Europe.

We have made a considerable investment to remodel all the facilities, including the two 18-hole golf courses, the 86-room hotel, and the wellness facilities.

At the heart of the Empordà Golf Resort are its magnificent championship courses – the Empordà Dunes and the Empordà Forest – designed by Robert von Hagge, a globally recognized architect. This was his first creation in Spain, and while both layouts belong to the same architect, that's where the similarities between these two courses end, as each presents different challenges.

Adjacent to the golf courses is the new Empordà hotel, which boasts 86 rooms and suites, all designed with a contemporary style that promotes the rest and relaxation of guests.

Golf is just one of the activities available during your stay at the resort. Guests can also go sailing, cycling, rent a boat, scuba dive, horseback ride, kayak or paddleboard, practice yoga, and attend training classes.

Prestigious golf course with over 20 years of experience. We are looking for a Marshal to fill a position at our course.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with excellent presence, highly organized, and capable of managing a dynamic work environment on the golf course. Flexibility, self-control, and a proactive attitude are essential qualities for this role. It is crucial that you have strong communication skills to interact with our players, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with course rules in a professional and friendly manner.



Additionally, we value the ability to work independently and make real-time decisions to maximize each visitor’s playing experience.

Main Responsibilities:

- Welcome members and players warmly and professionally, ensuring they understand the course rules and procedures.
- Monitor the pace of play on the course, identifying and resolving situations that may cause delays, and helping maintain optimal game flow.
- Handle phone calls and manage communication via email, providing assistance and resolving player inquiries.
- Conduct regular course patrols to monitor safety, pace of play, and facility conditions, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
- Provide detailed information about golf rules, course services, events, and recommendations to enhance players’ experience.
- Collaborate with other club departments to ensure a seamless and comprehensive experience for guests.
- Assist in organizing and supervising tournaments and special events, ensuring operational standards and customer service quality.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or similar roles, preferably in golf or sports sectors.
- Languages: Spanish, Catalan, English, and French.
- Driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with golf management software and knowledge of golf rules and etiquette will be valued.
