Procurement Intern (German Speaking)

Job description

We are offering an internship opportunity within our European Procurement team for a motivated candidate looking to build a solid foundation in Procurement and Supply Chain within an international environment.

The role will be part of the operational Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) team, supporting the end‑to‑end process through effective coordination, workflow optimization and a strong focus on transactional efficiency and digital transformation. The position acts as the primary entry point for internal stakeholders’ purchasing requirements, ensuring smooth handover to the tactical and strategic procurement teams.

Main Responsibilities:

- Support supplier qualification and onboarding activities in line with departmental standards and procedures.
- On-time purchase orders execution, according to KPIs and business needs.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to internal stakeholders on supplier onboarding, purchase requisition creation, PO processing, master data maintenance and use of procurement digital tools.
- Review and monitor supplier order confirmations, identifying and escalating deviations from agreed commercial terms or delivery conditions.
- Segmentation of the internal business requirements (BANFs) as per the department organization based on the different categories.
- Support the payment process through the review and validation of PO and non‑PO related invoices.
- Actively participate in Purchase‑to‑Pay process improvement initiatives, in close collaboration with the European Centre of Excellence.Experience working with ERP systems; Experience in SAP is highly desirable.

Job requirements





Academic background:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.

Languages:

- Excellent command of German (C1-C2) and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.

Competencies:

- Commercially minded, with a strong interest in process improvement and digitalisation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Well organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

- The position will be based in Madrid.
