Experteer Overview
As a Staff Software Engineer in Glovo's Quick-Commerce General Services, you will help scale our global ecosystem and next-generation platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to onboard vendors and build reliable, high-performance systems that support groceries and urgent everyday needs. You will lead architectural improvements, raise engineering standards, and mentor teammates to drive scalable, secure solutions. This role combines hands-on backend work with strategic technical leadership in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll contribute to shaping the technical direction for the Delivery Hero Group’s ecosystem from Barcelona.

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of backend development with Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Experience with message brokers (SNS/SQS, Kafka, or Pub/Sub)
• Strong emphasis on code quality, automated testing, and best practices
• Leadership experience, influencing multiple squads or stakeholders
• Ability to define technical vision and strategy with domain leads
• Fluent English communication
