About the Role We are looking for a Data Engineer (AWS) to join our Data & Cloud Engineering organisation. You will design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines and cloud‐native data platforms, supporting internal teams and key enterprise customers. Your work will directly influence the reliability, performance, and evolution of our data ecosystem.

What You'll Do: Functional Collaboration

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, architects, and DevOps teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust AWS‐based data solutions.

Design, build, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark/Scala, Python, SQL, and AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, and Lambda.

Implement and maintain data lake, lakehouse, or data mesh architectures.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and records‐management policies. Troubleshoot and resolve data‐related issues while supporting change‐management processes. Own projects end‐to‐end, from inception to delivery.

Skills & Experience Technical Skills

Strong understanding of when to use different tools and technologies, not just hands‐on experience with a single stack.





Expertise in Spark/Scala, Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, Lambda). Solid experience in ETL design, data modelling, and high‐volume data processing.

Ability to anticipate edge cases, identify risks, and make informed architectural decisions. Problem‐solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
