We are supporting a leading cyber security business in the search for a T1 SOC Analyst to join their team on a 12-month freelance contract based in Madrid.
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with strong SOC monitoring experience and German language skills to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse security alerts and events within the SOC
- Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents
- Escalate threats and suspicious activity in line with internal processes
- Support incident response activities and follow-up actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of alerts, incidents, and remediation steps
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a Tier 1 / T1 SOC Analyst position
- Good understanding of security monitoring, SIEM tools, and incident handling
- Ability to investigate and assess alerts in a structured way
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving security operations environment
- German language skills are essential
- English language skills required
