Facility and Equipment Control Manager Cargo SpainEnvíe su CV y cualquier información adicional requerida después de haber leído esta descripción, haciendo clic en el botón de solicitud.Job Title:Facility and Equipment Control Manager Cargo EspañaLocation:HQ MadridReporting to:COO Cargo SpainSummary:The main purpose of this role is to be functionally responsible in Cargo Spain for equipment and facilities management, leading implementation, development and continuous improvement of cost‑effective fleet management solutions, ensuring compliance and financial control, as well as the planning, design and execution of maintenance procedures related to cargo facilities.ResponsibilitiesEquipment Control:Align with global fleet / equipment management strategies and assure compliance.Develop and communicate station plans reflecting general requirements and vision to lead industry.Lead implementation of all fleet / equipment management activities related to asset, maintenance and inventory management throughout Cargo Spain.Maintain oversight of fleet management costs to ensure effective total cost of ownership.Provide insights on required asset numbers versus existing assets across stations.Drive KPI‑driven performance management culture.Develop and maintain Local Operating Procedures (LOPs), ensuring compliance through regular internal audits.Develop lean processes to eliminate waste and maximize efficiencies.Act as fleet / equipment management SME providing advice and guidance.Provide procurement feedback on equipment reliability and supplier performance.Participate in fleet management forums and workshops to help develop the Swissport Fleet Management System.Facilities Management:Lead projects and maintenance procedures related to cargo facilities in terms of specifications, budget, and timelines.Ensure successful completion of projects and maintenance within budget and on time.Act as facilities management SME providing advice and guidance.Manage relationships with airport authorities, customs,



fire safety authorities, and local municipalities for regulatory compliance.Manage utilities and energy consumption, identifying efficiency improvements and supporting ESG objectives.Support CAPEX planning, business case preparation, and budget control for facilities projects.Develop and maintain facilities management LOPs, ensuring compliance through internal audits.Liaise between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure installations meet code and design concept.Coordinate with vendors, ensuring timely submissions and approvals of projects.Attend project‑related meetings with management/site engineering/main contractor and report back to Cargo Direction.Evaluate required project/maintenance resources and arrange availability.Plan and schedule resources (materials, manpower, etc.) and mobilise them.RequirementsBachelor's degree in related engineering or fleet management field, or equivalent extensive experience.3–5 years of experience in operational fleet or facilities management roles; preferably in aviation.Experience with fleet maintenance or facilities management and supply within an operational environment.Experience working with national and global suppliers of ground service equipment.Experience developing requirements documents, formulating plans, and managing roll‑outs.Experience in a performance‑management culture driven by KPIs.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Willingness to travel extensively across the country.Ability to work with key stakeholders in multiple locations and at various levels.Management of multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, and time‑management skills.Awareness of Total Cost of Ownership principles, capital equipment acquisition, buy‑vs‑lease decisions, and fleet optimization.Results‑oriented approach with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Constructive challenge of the status quo and ability to manage change. xcskxlj Self‑starter with high motivation and pro‑activeness.#J-18808-Ljbffr
