This role plays a key part in defining the perceived quality of the vehicle, focusing on the tactile feedback and mechanical behavior of interior controls and user interfaces.
Main responsibilities
Manage and operate a Haptics Laboratory, focusing on interior controls (switchgear) and actuators
Define and analyze actuation forces, travel, and tactile feedback of interior components
Ensure feasibility for mass production through application and industrial engineering
Collaborate closely with design teams to develop components aligned with high-end ergonomic and tactile standards
Validate compliance with automotive interior engineering requirements
Support testing, measurement, and validation activities in a lab environment
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
Proven experience in automotive interior development, especially in Haptics & Switchgear (buttons, knobs, physical controls)
xiphteb Strong knowledge of CATIA V5
Experience working in a laboratory/testing environment
Fluency in Spanish and English (German is a plus)
