Experteer Overview
As a Staff Software Engineer at Factorial, you will lead the engineering of AI-native features built on LLM APIs, shipping production-ready capabilities alongside Product and Design. You’ll work primarily with Rails and React, designing scalable systems that solve real customer problems in HR tech. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on product delivery, focusing on reliability, compliance, and impact. You’ll shape architecture, drive cross-functional initiatives, and elevate engineering practices across the company.

• Set technical direction for meaningful roadmap areas and oversee architecture decisions
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design from early planning through production rollout
• Own end-to-end systems, including maintenance and unglamorous aspects
• Engage with customers to inform product decisions and improve AI features

• Build trustworthy AI tooling and monitoring for production features
• Balance LLM outputs with deterministic data for accuracy and compliance

Responsabilidades
• Strong backend and frontend depth in production-grade software
• Proven track record shipping real products to production
• Good understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and system design
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into product features and shipping to users
• Leadership and strong communication skills; collaborative culture
• English fluency; Spanish a plus
