Description

Senior Python Backend Engineer role focused on defining, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions. This position requires strong autonomy with full technical ownership and proven experience running production-grade web application backends.

Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing scalable backend services for AI RAG systems.
- Building and maintaining FastAPI-based APIs.
- Creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributing to vector storage and chunking strategies.
- Ensuring reliability, testing, and production readiness.
- Proactively improving backend architecture and infrastructure.

Qualifications





- Advanced Python backend experience beyond data-only contexts.
- At least two years developing APIs with FastAPI.
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and container-based distributed deployments.
- Managing cloud infrastructure including IAM, databases, compute, and networking.
- Hands-on observability using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Solid testing practices across unit, integration, and performance levels.
- Experience in generative AI and LLM integration especially RAG systems.
- Knowledge of AWS production environments and distributed system performance optimization.
- Cloud and API security best practices.
- English (C1).
- Remote (EU) location.

Rate

190€-200/day.
