We’re hiring: Hands-on Mechanical Lead | Product Engineer (Mechanical)

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Lead who enjoys being deeply involved in mechanical design, simulation and technical decision-making, while also providing strong technical leadership across projects.

What will you do?

- Act as the hands-on mechanical lead , owning the mechanical development of products from concept through final validation.
- Define and drive the mechanical architecture of products, balancing performance, quality, cost and manufacturability.
- Lead mechanical design activities while remaining fully involved in day-to-day CAD work and technical problem-solving.
- Perform and interpret mechanical simulations (CAE/FEA) using tools such as SolidWorks Simulation, SimScale or equivalent software to support design decisions.
- Use simulation results to validate concepts, identify risks and optimize designs before prototyping.
- Collaborate closely with electronics, software, industrial design and industrialization teams to ensure full system integration.
- Plan, prioritize and track mechanical development activities across projects.
- Review, validate and technically guide mechanical designs from external partners and suppliers.
- Define test plans, support prototyping, analyze results and drive continuous design improvements.
- Ensure high-quality technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, specifications, engineering changes).
- Support industrialization activities,



ensuring DFM/DFA and smooth transition to production.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to mechanical designers, setting standards and best practices.

What are we looking for?

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 4–5 years of experience in mechanical product development with strong hands-on responsibility .
- Advanced skills in 3D/2D CAD and mechanical design.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, tolerances and mechanical fits.
- Strong experience in DFM/DFA and product development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies.
- Experience performing CAE/FEA simulations (SolidWorks Simulation, SimScale or similar).
- Experience in regulated environments (medical devices, ISO 10993) is a plus.
- Experience working with dental resins or resin-based materials is considered a strong plus.
- Strong technical leadership, autonomy and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
