At Astek, we are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to lead the implementation and automation of non-functional testing for a critical low-latency system.

Main responsibilities:
Design and build automated non-functional testing frameworks
Execute and analyze latency, capacity, and failover tests
Identify and troubleshoot performance issues across distributed systems
Analyze system behavior under high load and optimize performance
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing strategies
Who are you?
5+ years of experience in performance testing / engineering
Strong experience with non-functional testing and automation
Deep understanding of low-latency systems and networking concepts
Proven experience troubleshooting across network, OS, and application layers
English: Full professional proficiency
Technical Stack
Languages: Python, Bash, C/C++
Systems: Linux (advanced level)
Monitoring: Grafana (or similar)
DevOps & Automation: GitLab, Ansible, Airflow
Cloud/Containers: OpenShift / ArgoCD
