As Product Director for Public Sector, you shape the vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap for Unit4’s public sector products. You lead a dedicated engineering-backed vertical, ensuring end-to-end platform capabilities across finance, HR, procurement, and operations. You’ll balance sector-specific requirements with platform investments, driving adoption, compliance, and impact for municipalities, agencies, and emergency services. This role centers on responsible AI, security, and transparent governance to strengthen public trust.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own the Public Sector product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap aligned with platform strategy and growth targets
• Lead a prioritized backlog with engineering capacity, defining outcomes, success metrics, release plans, and quality criteria
• Define adoption and customer impact goals for features and track performance post-launch
• Provide industry grounding to product, marketing, analyst relations, and pre-sales teams
• Translate sector knowledge into investment-backed requirements (problem statements, sizing, build-vs-partner decisions)
• Define industry-specific blueprints, reference configurations, and templates to speed implementations
• Collaborate with horizontal product teams to reflect public sector needs in platform investments




• Partner with Industry Growth Director on launch readiness, pricing, and field enablement
• Engage with strategic customers and Public Sector Industry Board to validate direction and co-innovate
• Ensure regulatory, security, accessibility, and localisation needs are reflected in the roadmap
• Monitor competitors and adapt positioning; work with partners to extend value for public sector customers

Responsabilidades
• Proven product management experience building enterprise software (ERP or enterprise SaaS) for public sector organizations
• Experience delivering products used by public sector finance and operations teams
• Deep knowledge of public finance management, public sector accounting, and budgeting practices
• Strong understanding of public procurement frameworks and ERP requirements (workflows, audit trails, supplier management, contracts)
• Understanding of security, data residency, and audit expectations for government buyers in cloud ERP
• Clear view on using AI responsibly to empower public sector without compromising accountability and security
• Commercial orientation: impact on ARR, win rate, and customer retention
• Strong communication with senior leadership (Head of Finance, Head of ICT, etc.)
