Experteer Overview
In this role, you will strengthen Workato's Engine team, focusing on the runtime for Workato Recipe execution. You will build and optimize scalable Go applications, tackle performance and durability challenges, and shape the data processing and storage layers. You work with distributed systems to deliver reliable, high-performance backend services. This is an opportunity to impact a mission-critical platform used by thousands of customers and help scale complex workflows in real time.

• Build/extend/troubleshoot/fix complex Go applications and microservices
• Improve the execution engine for custom third-party code (isolation, performance, new features)
• Write well designed, testable, efficient Go code
• Integrate data storage solutions (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse)
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Provide code reviews to teammates
• Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems




• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend applications
• Strong understanding of web application building blocks (databases, load balancers, app servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring)
• Good understanding of network protocols and stacks
• Good understanding of DB technologies (classic databases and NoSQL)
• Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem solving, and social skills
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (7+ years experience)
• Experience in related fields (DevOps, ML, DBA, Enterprise apps) and data processing pipelines (plus)
