As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with application knowledge to design tailored processing solutions for food industry customers. You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales journey, from demonstrations to solution development and validation. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust, scalable system designs. • Support the consultative sales process as a technical and application expert
• Analyze customer processes and requirements to develop tailored solutions
• Prepare technical specs, solution designs, performance analyses, quotations, and documentation
• Design and evaluate processing systems and integrated solutions, including third-party equipment
• Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, testing, and performance optimization projects
• Analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities and drive continuous improvement
• Provide technical guidance on equipment configuration and application performance
• Deliver technical presentations, webinars, workshops, and reference visits
• Support Sales and Service teams with application training, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support
• Assess requirements to balance performance, reliability, scalability, and cost




• Conduct design reviews and support handover to implementation teams
• Maintain solution documentation and resources in central systems
• Monitor industry trends and competitor capabilities to support growth
• Share knowledge and best practices across the organization

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Automation, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in Agri-Tech, food processing, automation, or related industries
• Experience supporting customers through sales, applications, service, or solution development
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles
• Ability to analyze operational data and recommend technical solutions
• Experience preparing technical documentation, specifications, and presentations
• Experience with system design, process evaluation, and equipment integration
• Knowledge of CAD/design software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Structured problem-solving and decision-making
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Customer-focused communication skills
• Valid work permit/visa where required
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the EMEA region
• Valid driving license
