Experteer Overview
In this role you will act as the primary legal advisor for Unilever Spain, guiding cross-functional teams on commercial, marketing, regulatory, and risk matters to enable responsible growth. You will partner with business leaders to deliver pragmatic risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance, while collaborating with global teams to align on best practices. You will support product claims, advertising, contracts, and complex legal issues, contributing to strategic decisions and leadership in Spain. This position offers a chance to shape legal strategy within a multinational, fast-paced consumer goods environment and to mentor colleagues as part of the leadership team.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Serve as the primary legal advisor for Unilever Spain across commercial, marketing, sales, distribution, supply chain, corporate, litigation, and compliance matters
• Provide pragmatic legal advice and risk assessments aligned with business objectives and applicable laws
• Advise Marketing and Ru0026D on product claims, advertising, and promotional activities in coordination with Regulatory Affairs and global/regional teams
• Collaborate with data privacy, competition law, business integrity, and regulatory compliance teams to manage complex matters
• Lead legal review and negotiation of strategic agreements with customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders




• Coordinate competitive assessments related to product claims and marketing activities in line with strategy
• Oversee litigation matters with internal and external counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
• Develop and deliver training on key legal topics including competition law and risk management
• Contribute to the Spain Leadership Team with strategic legal input for growth and decision-making
• Foster relationships across European and global legal teams, share best practices, and mentor members of the Powerhouse team

Responsabilidades
• Qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate, regulatory, or consumer goods law
• 8–10 years of experience supporting cross-functional teams in a multinational or complex commercial setting
• Strong knowledge of Spanish commercial contracts, marketing/advertising law, competition law, litigation management, and compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to assess legal risk and provide practical business-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; fluency in Spanish and English
