In this role you will lead product reliability for a next‑generation utility-scale power conversion platform, guiding design-for-reliability and ensuring service life and performance targets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks before commercial release and maintain accountability for reliability execution across the product lifecycle. • Serve as Product Reliability Owner across development, qualification, launch, and early fleet deployment
• Develop and execute the Product Reliability Program Plan
• Set reliability goals aligned with customer expectations and warranty objectives
• Lead reliability planning, design reviews, and milestone assessments
• Coordinate cross-functional reliability activities and communicate residual risk to leadership
• Lead DFMEA, FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis and other risk assessments
• Drive reliability-focused design decisions across electrical, thermal, mechanical, cooling, insulation, and electromechanical systems
• Balance reliability with performance, manufacturability, schedule, and cost
• Close reliability action items and mitigation plans
• Develop reliability validation strategies and coordinate qualification across labs, suppliers, and test facilities
• Lead reliability growth through EVT, DVT, PVT, and pilot builds




• Review test results and determine readiness for next phases
• Ensure validation demonstrates achievement of reliability objectives
• Support qualification of contract manufacturers and key suppliers
• Evaluate reliability impact of supplier, manufacturing, and component changes
• Participate in supplier technical reviews and manufacturing readiness
• Define ongoing production reliability monitoring and corrective actions
• Monitor pilot deployments, field performance, and emerging reliability trends
• Lead investigations of validation failures, customer returns, production escapes, and warranty issues
• Drive corrective actions and integrate lessons learned into future designs
• Support product reliability assessments, warranty discussions, and fleet health reviews

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
• 10+ years in Product Reliability, Design for Reliability, or Reliability Engineering for complex electrical/electromechanical products
• Experience leading reliability activities for power conversion, industrial electronics, or high-reliability products
• Strong understanding of DFMEA, FMECA, FTA, Accelerated Life Testing, Reliability Growth, RCA
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and influencing technical decisions
• Experience supporting supplier qualification, manufacturing readiness, and product introduction
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
