You are an experienced and proactive API Designer with a strong passion for API best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement. You're eager to work within a dynamic team and support the creation and integration of high-quality APIs in the insurance and assistance business domain. You thrive in an Agile environment and are motivated to contribute to the improvement of tools, processes, and API standards.

Key Responsibilities ?

- Design, create, and review Pull Requests on Azure DevOps for API implementations.
- Ensure compliance between the specified API design and the vigente implementation.
- Evangelize API best practices within the organization and participate in the API Design Authority committee.
- Participate actively in my client internal API communities to share knowledge and insights.
- Challenge business requirements and specify APIs to fulfill these needs.
- Support both technical and business partners with API integration, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.
- Monitor LIFE assets' health across all available environments, ensuring ongoing stability.
- Review and challenge incoming topics to ensure all necessary data is received for effective delivery.
- Participate in the improvement of team tools, processes, and overall delivery practices.
- Support testing phases when necessary and provide guidance throughout the delivery process.




- Ensure the delivery processes within the team are followed and make sure external teams adhere to them.

Required Skills and Technologies ?

- Proven experience in API design, with a deep understanding of the OpenAPI 3.x, Swagger 2.0, and AsyncAPI specifications.
- Strong familiarity with JSON, XML, and YAML as API formats.
- Experience with Swagger Hub, Postman, and Azure DevOps.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and associated standards (ISO, RFC, Richardson Maturity Model).
- Expertise in API Gateway tools, including Developer Portal, Incident Management, and Monitoring.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of programming languages like C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong security understanding, including OAuth2, JWT, and SAML.
- Familiar with Query languages like Kusto and tools like AppInsight.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management techniques (e.g., 5Ws, MoSCoW).
- Fluent in English (C1 level). Additional languages such as French or Spanish are a plus.
