Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead rail transport purchasing for our European plants from a base in Avilés, Spain.

You will define and execute sourcing strategies within the Rail Team of the Center of Excellence Land Logistics, collaborating with plant suppliers and logistics peers to optimize volume, spend, and performance.

You will drive improvements by leveraging cross-border experiences and align contracts with the European procurement strategy.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Purchase rail transport for all goods (raw materials, scraps, semi-products, finished products) for Spanish plants and imports from other European plants
• Manage a spend around 60M and implement contracts with logistics and supply chain teams
• Monitor rail transport performance (volume, spend, issues) and drive improvements
• Share learnings across the team to optimize production, commercial relations, and supplier portfolios




• Develop and implement purchasing strategy for the geographical perimeter as part of the global Europe plan
• Ensure purchasing rules, methodologies, and compliance are followed
• Prepare activity and financial reports and necessary submission files
• Manage price governance in SAP, Oracle and related tools

Responsabilidades
• Master in Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience
• Reliability in handling important contracts impacting customers and EBITDA
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Ability to develop strategy and build partnerships with key accounts
• Open minded and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Native Spanish and fluent English; French is advantageous
• CV to be submitted in English
