Experteer Overview
Lead and influence the evolution of Elasticsearch search capabilities within a globally distributed team.

You will design and implement high-impact search features, improve relevance, and tackle challenging bugs, potentially inventing new algorithms or data structures.

Your work focuses on scalable, fast search experiences and close collaboration with the community and cross-functional partners.

This role offers the chance to shape vector search capabilities and contribute to a widely adopted, AI-powered search platform.

Responsabilidades




• Professional experience with search and vector databases; familiarity with HNSW, IVF, or similar algorithms at scale
• Strong core Java skills and knowledge of standard data structures, concurrency, and Lambdas
• Ability to work autonomously across technical design and implementation
• Experience collaborating across dispersed teams, with asynchronous communication preferred
• Experience with data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and optimize code while owning outcomes
• Ability to transition between projects and domains based on business priorities
• Comfort with open source collaboration and diverse source control/CI practices
