The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will take ownership of server-side architecture, backend services, and data infrastructure while working closely with Dev

Ops and product teams to scale systems globally.

You'll play a key role in designing performant, secure, and scalable backend solutions supporting real-time user interactions.

GitLab / CI/CDResponsibilities: Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIsCollaborate with product and engineering teams to design new features





Optimise services for performance, scalability, and reliability

Implement security and data protection best practices

Design and manage data storage solutions

Develop reusable backend components and libraries

Contribute to testing strategies including unit and E2E testing

Requirements: 5+ years' experience as a Backend Developer

Strong experience building and consuming REST APIsExperience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Solid understanding of TDD, SOLID principles, and software design practices

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD workflows

Experience monitoring and optimising system performance

At least B2 level English language skills
