About the Company
We don't just talk product, we live it. At dualoop, we are a team of passionate senior experts who help tech and tech-enabled companies shape better products and stronger product cultures. We coach teams, staff PMs, run discovery sprints, and transform how organisations work, all rooted in deep, hands-on product management expertise.
Impact. Humility. Ambition. Learning. Excellence. Expectations are high, and so is the support.
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Coach to join our Shape practice and work inside client transformations, supporting organisations as they move from projects to products, and helping their product people grow into the roles the new model requires.
Product transformations rarely fail on the diagnosis or the target model. They stall later, when the people expected to work differently are left to figure it out on their own. The work happens close to the teams: coaching individuals, embedding new ways of working, and staying long enough for the change to hold.
Responsibilities
Coaching product people
- Run regular one-to-one coaching with Product Leads, Product Managers and Product Owners, working on their vigente initiatives, backlog and stakeholders.
- Build product practice with people who are often new to the role: framing problems, running discovery, writing clear product briefs, prioritising with an explicit rationale, and holding a position when it matters.
- Set development goals with each person, assess maturity against our competency framework, and share progress transparently with them and with their leadership.
- Coach product leaders on how to develop their own people, so the capability grows beyond your presence.
- Facilitate group formats, workshops, peer coaching sessions, trainings, alongside individual work.
Embedding the product operating model
- Set up and run the ceremonies that support the new model: one-to-ones, alignment meetings, initiative reviews, practice reviews, quarterly planning.
- Introduce the artefacts that make product work visible and useful, product briefs, opportunity framing, prioritisation frameworks, OKRs, roadmaps.
- Work on the governance that touches teams:
decision rights, escalation paths, and the interface between product, tech and business.
- Support ways of working and tooling so the model has somewhere to live day to day.
- Hand over each ceremony and artefact to a named internal owner as the engagement progresses.
Driving adoption and change
- Map stakeholders and understand how decisions really get made in the organisation.
- Sequence the change: what to introduce first, what to pilot, what to leave for later.
- Surface resistance early and address it constructively, including with managers whose support is needed.
- Track adoption, what changed, what didn't hold, and adjust the approach accordingly.
- Identify and develop internal change agents so the client can sustain the model after the engagement ends.
- Feed observations back to the programme when the design needs to evolve.
Client relationship and delivery
- Act as a trusted counterpart for product and business leaders, and represent dualoop well at every level of the organisation.
- Contribute to scoping, shaping and reporting on engagements, and take responsibility for the outcomes agreed.
- Work alongside other dualoop consultants on the same client, sharing context and keeping the approach coherent.
Growing the dualoop practice
- Improve the frameworks, templates and assessment grids you use, based on what works in the field.
- Contribute to our content and events — trainings, talks, articles — and to the product community we run.
- Support the hiring and onboarding of new consultants as the practice grows.
Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience in product management, with solid experience as PM / Senior PM / Product Lead, including time spent developing other product people.
Required Skills
- You coach rather than take over.
Doing the work yourself is faster in the moment and rarely the right call.
- You're comfortable with resistance. Coaching is often initiated by leadership and not always welcomed by everyone. You work with that patiently and openly.
- You get up to speed quickly in unfamiliar domains and can hold a credible conversation with experienced specialists.
- You structure your own work. Scope is rarely handed to you; you define priorities and adjust as the engagement evolves.
- You take a long view. Progress in this work shows up over quarters.
- You've worked in different organisational contexts, start-up, scale-up, corporate, and adapt your approach to each.
- English AND French or Dutch fluent.
Preferred Skills
- Change management experience matters as much as product craft, sequencing, communication, building support, and anchoring change into structure.
- Formal grounding (Kotter, ADKAR, Prosci, org design) is welcome, and we’ll be interested in how you’ve adapted it in practice.
This role may not suit you if
- You prefer to be the one solving the problem rather than enabling others to solve it.
- You see the recommendation as the deliverable; here the goal is a change in how the organisation works.
- You haven't held product roles yourself. This role is product-led first: discovery, strategy, outcomes. Hands-on experience is what makes the coaching credible.
Behind the scenes
- Variety & depth: work with some of the most exciting companies in Belgium and beyond, from fast-growing scale-ups to established enterprises.
- Stay at the forefront: access to the latest thinking, frameworks, and community in product management.
- A team that has your back: we are radically transparent, deeply collaborative, and genuinely invested in each other's growth.
- Career ownership: define your goals and get the support, coaching, and resources you need to achieve them.
- An exclusive network: connect with product leaders, founders, and investors across Europe.
- Hybrid flexibility: our home base is Brussels (Avenue Louise), and we work with clients across Belgium.
