We are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and Data Engineering teams.

You'll play a key role in translating business needs into scalable data solutions while supporting the transition from an SAP landscape to Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyse business requirements.

Translate business needs into functional and technical data requirements.

Design data mappings, transformation logic and KPI definitions.

Collaborate on conceptual and logical data models.

Perform SQL analysis, data profiling and data quality assessments.

Produce BRDs and Functional Specifications.

Lead root cause analysis for data discrepancies and pipeline issues.

Define and execute testing and UAT activities.

Contribute to data governance through documentation and metadata management.





Support and maintain the existing SAP BW environment while contributing to the future GCP data platform.

Required Skills

✔ Strong experience with SAP BW

✔ Experience with SAP data extraction processes

✔ SQL (complex joins, data profiling)

✔ Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake, ETL)

✔ Logical & physical data modelling

✔ BRD & Functional Specifications

Nice to have

Google BigQuery

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

SAP SD and/or SAP MM

Retail or large enterprise experience

Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Economics or a related field.

Experience as a Data Business Analyst or in a similar consulting role.

Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
