To strengthen our Property Management team, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Property Manager who will play a key role in ensuring the operational excellence, sustainability, and value creation of our European logistics parks.
Your Role
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for the administrative, technical, and operational management of a portfolio of logistics and industrial properties across Europe. You will act as a key point of contact for tenants, service providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that our assets remain efficient, compliant, and aligned with our quality standards.
Technical Asset Management
- Oversee the technical and structural maintenance of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with budgets, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess building conditions and maintenance quality.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and ensure timely follow-up of corrective actions identified by accredited bodies.
- Prepare and manage annual maintenance, repair, and improvement plans.
- Review and approve operating expenses and monitor cost evolution across the portfolio.
- Coordinate refurbishment projects, technical upgrades, and replacement of building systems in collaboration with internal and external project teams.
- Monitor building performance, energy consumption, and technical incidents.
- Ensure environmental permits remain current and compliant with local regulations.
Tenant & Lease Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, understanding their needs and ensuring a high level of service.
- Support commercial teams by providing technical expertise and property-related information.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements and contractual obligations.
- Manage lease commencements and terminations, including handovers, condition reports, guarantees, and insurance documentation.
- Handle insurance claims and coordinate with insurers, experts, and other relevant stakeholders.
ESG, Compliance & Sustainability
- Contribute actively to Weerts Group's ESG strategy and sustainability objectives.
- Monitor environmental compliance across the portfolio, including permits, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives related to energy efficiency, environmental performance, asbestos management, and evolving sustainability regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing the long-term value and environmental performance of our assets.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Engineering (Construction, Electromechanics), Architecture, Real Estate, or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Property Management, Asset Management, or Facility Management, ideally within logistics, industrial, or commercial real estate.
- Solid understanding of building technologies, maintenance operations, and property regulations.
- Fluent in French and English, Italian is considered as a strong asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
