We are looking for a motivated Junior Developer who is eager to build a career as a ServiceNow Developer.

Advanced Service Provider (ASP) is an IT company with about 50 employees. We provide IT managed services to our clients with a select range of solutions. We also provide IT infrastructure, server, storage, networking and cloud solutions. In addition, we are an official partner of ServiceNow in Belgium.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Participate in the development and customization of applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Learn how to configure forms, workflows, business rules and automations.
- Develop and maintain features using JavaScript and ServiceNow development best practices.
- Support the integration of ServiceNow with third-party applications through REST and SOAP APIs.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing and deployments.
- Contribute to improving business processes through automation.
- Collaborate with consultants and customers to understand functional requirements.
- Document developments, technical solutions and best practices.
- Continuously learn new technologies and complete the ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.

Must-have:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Software Engineering or equivalent through experience.
- Passionate about software development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript.
- Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.




- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems.
- Good communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French.
- Curious, eager to learn and motivated to become a ServiceNow Developer.
- Team player with a proactive mindset.

Nice-to-have:

- Knowledge of Java, C#, Python, PHP or Node.js.
- Experience with React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Linux or Windows environments.
- Personal, academic or internship projects.
- Knowledge of generative AI tools and prompting techniques, or willingness to develop expertise in leveraging AI for software development and IT operations.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus, but not required.
