Evansville State Hospital is one of the Indiana State Psychiatric Hospitals who are committed to the mission of Hope and Recovery. Residing on 88 acres on the east side of Evansville, Ind., our facility provides medical treatment for chronic mental illness and substance abuse disorders from our dedicated team of psychiatrists and advanced practice professionals. Active Treatment helps our patients achieve their goals directed towards living in the most non-restrictive environment possible.
Our team of professionals assist our patients in the treatment process involving medical staff, nursing, psychology, social work,
rehabilitation therapy and our community integration program. Evansville State Hospital continues to maintain accreditation through The Joint Commission as an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital as well as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services certification as a Psychiatric Medicare/Medicaid Hospital.
Salary:

Therapeutic Activity Support
- Directs, instructs, and supervises patients in specialized activities to promote rehabilitation goals
- Advises and reinforces patients on acceptable social behavior to support therapeutic progress, employing behavior modification or other techniques
