Backend Java Developer - Senior – EY GDS Spain – Hybrid

This position provides the opportunity to work in an international environment and collaborate with leading fi nancial institutions across Europe and globally. You will be part of high-performing teams delivering innovative digital transformation solutions for banking clients, utilizing modern technologies and industry best practices.

You will participate in the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-grade banking applications, working closely with architects, business analysts,and product owners. You will leverage modern development frameworks and cloud technologies while contributing to mission-critical systems covering areas such as Payments, Lending, Core Banking, Customer Channels, Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting.

As a member of our team at the EY GDS office in Málaga, you will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience by working on exciting projects using the latest technologies and approaches.



You will support clients in selecting the most suitable business solutions and take part in their digital transformation journey.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Developing and orchestrating services and microservices.
- Back-end Java development for web applications using Spring Boot.
- Staying up to date with state-of-the-art back-end development practices and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success
- Between 4 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 11/17 or higher) and related frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
