Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads, serving as the first point of contact between potential customers and the Lightspeed brand. Your efforts will directly support Lightspeed’s mission to empower retailers and restaurateurs with smart technology.
After years of refining and optimising our strategy in a focused market, our Inbound team is now in hyper-growth mode and ready to scale. Please note this role is based in Spain with a must requirement of speaking Dutch fluently

What you will be doing:




- Build in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including trends, challenges, and competitor activity
- Drive new business growth through qualifying warm inbound leads from marketing-generated sources (webinars, trials, quote/demo requests) primarily through telephone and email communication;
- Conduct initial discovery calls to uncover business needs, pain points, and fit for Lightspeed’s solutions.
- Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to ensure high-quality sales opportunities.
- Book meetings and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth and professional handover process.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, tracking prospect interactions, pipeline activity, and lead status.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams, sharing market feedback and contributing to strategy while meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targe
