Who are we?

EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.

Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners we demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

About EIT Urban Mobility Academy

Our EIT Urban Mobility Academy is a collaborative arena for lifelong learning, helping to build critical capabilities for innovation and transformation. We are training the next generation of urban mobility practitioners, needed by the urban mobility ecosystem of the future.

Within the Academy,



the Professional Education team oversees two main strategic portfolios: Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) and our pan-European cross-KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community) initiatives.

Our Professional School, UMX, offers a variety of training programmes and experiences on hot topics in urban mobility for professionals and organisations across Europe, operating as dedicated sub-brand within EIT Urban Mobility.

The Entrepreneurship and Education Skills (EntrEduSkills) Cluster is a flagship cross-KIC collaboration scheme aiming to integrate educational activities across multiple KICs, creating joint offerings that align with current labour market needs and European Union strategic priorities. Within this cluster, we drive (amongst others) the following initiatives:
- The EIT STEM Tech Talent Induction, scaling talent development and stakeholder engagement.
- The EIT Campus, a unified platform for B2C learners, B2B/B2G partners, and the wider EIT ecosys
