We are seeking for a Technical Product Manager / IT Tech Leader — Marsh Spain & Portugal

We will count on you to:
Role overview
- Lead the technical delivery and engineering direction for IT products in Marsh Spain & Portugal. Act as the technical owner for product architecture, roadmap, and quality while bridging business stakeholders, global IT teams, and external vendors.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to local engineering teams and serve as the primary technical point of contact for senior stakeholders across the business and different functions within the Marsh group.
- Drive the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices and identify opportunities to apply AI to improve product delivery, operational efficiency, and business outcomes

Key responsibilities
- Define and manage the technical roadmap for IT products in close collaboration with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and general IT hubs.
- Act as Tech Lead: set reference architecture, make key technical and application decisions,



and ensure adherence to engineering best practices (cloud, integration patterns, APIs, security).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (development, QA, security, infrastructure, operations) and oversee delivery, releases, and deployments.
- Manage vendor and system integrator relationships: author technical RFPs, evaluate solutions, and negotiate technical scope and SLAs.
- Ensure solutions comply with governance, regulatory requirements, data protection (GDPR) and corporate security standards.
- Monitor solution quality, performance, and cost; propose improvements and automation (CI/CD, observability, cost optimization).
- Mentor and grow technical skills within the team; promote a DevOps and Agile engineering culture, code review discipline, and engineering excellence.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and priorities; participate in estimation and planning exercises.
