Key Responsibilities
- Growth of high-purity and nitrogen-doped diamond using MPCVD systems
- Optimization of growth parameters to achieve reliable and reproducible material quality
- Development of protocols for controlled incorporation of defects (e.g., nitrogen-related centers)
- Structural, optical, and electronic characterization of diamond materials
- Contribution to the development of quantum sensing concepts and devices
- Participation in research projects in quantum technologies

Quantum technologies are transitioning from fundamental research to real-world applications. Defect centers in diamond, particularly nitrogen-related centers, are among the most promising platforms for quantum sensing with ultra-high sensitivity and room-temperature quantum devices.
